MCI Training Drill – April 30, 2026

The North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District will be conducting a Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) training drill on:

Date: April 30, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM
Location: Village Green, 960 Lakeshore Blvd, Incline Village

This training exercise is designed to enhance emergency response coordination and preparedness among fire, EMS, and partner agencies.


What to Expect

Community members may notice:

  • Increased presence of emergency vehicles and personnel
  • Simulated patient care and triage activities
  • Realistic training scenarios occurring in the area

This is a planned training exercise. There is no emergency.


Important Information for the Public

For safety and to ensure the effectiveness of the training:

  • Please do not approach or enter the drill area
  • Spectators are asked to remain off the drill grounds
  • Follow any posted signage or instructions from personnel

Why This Training Matters

MCI drills allow emergency responders to practice coordinated response efforts during large-scale incidents. These exercises are critical to ensuring a safe, efficient, and effective response during real emergencies.
